What are the add-ons in Blender?
The Add-ons tab lets you manage secondary scripts, called «Add-ons, " extending Blender's functionality. You can search, install, enable, and disable Add-ons in this tab. Add-ons tab in the User Preferences.


How to Install ADD-ONS in Blender?
This video, by The CG Essentials, teaches you how to install and enable add-ons in Blender version 2.8 and above. This will give you access to a whole number of additional third-party tools inside Blender.
